The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 99.75 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 as compared to Rs 146.84 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 32.07 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 10.81 per cent at Rs 2,714.98 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 3,044.13 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 10.49 per cent to Rs 2,449.56 crore from Rs 2,736.75 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 85.86 per cent at Rs 1.50 crore versus (Sep'18 Rs 10.61 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 12.69 per cent to Rs 325.16 crore as against Rs 372.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 2.04 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 53.45 per cent y-o-y to Rs 51.30 crore, while Taxation decreased by 51.63 per cent at Rs 26.98 crore (Sep'18 Rs 55.78 crore).
